SB: How do you bring out the beauty, curves, and sex appeal of urban models?

ST:"I think the most important thing is to gain trust and confidence of the model. If she is uncomfortable with you then that tension will show up in the pictures. Like any successful business, it does not matter how great your product is if no one can use it. The most important aspect of a shoot is listening to what the client is wants and then building their trust and comfort level to bring out the magic you need."

Narme Demha started his photography interest at the tender age of 10. His family did not have much money so he saved his lunch money to begin his photography experience with a 110 camera. He loved taking pictures of his friends. Soon after high school he picked up a SLR camera that propelled into a full photography career. He attended Virginia Commonwealth University majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in Management. This summer he worked on a swimsuit calendar that features Richmond female models. He didnt realize how much behind the scene work was involved and he had to push the publication date back to 2010 as he wanted a greater mix of ethnicity that Richmond has to offer.

SB:What are your pet peeves with models at a photo shoot?

ST:"I love all my models, but what gets me the most is when they stand me up at a photo shoot. It is very unprofessional not to show up and leave someone stuck"

SB:What makes a successful model?

ST:"The most successful ones realize that they are spokes person for a brand and utilize their public speaking skills to promote that brand. In other words they need to get an education and not rely on their looks alone. If you are serious about modeling then learn public speaking skills. Tyra Banks doesn"t just strut her stuff, she speaks her mind like an educated woman. I would love to shoot famed stunner Brooke Burke because she is so HOT!"

SB:What is the vibe of models of Richmond, Virginia?

ST: "Richmond is a very conservative town and definitely not a fashion center. There are many models that get their start here, but usually move on to big cities to pursue their dreams. "

SB: How do you feel working with Stunner Baby Magazine in Richmond?

ST: " Loved working with Stunner Baby Magazine! The models (Ty Shuwon, Dionn Nicol, and Tour Host Ms. Sharmaine) showed high level of sophistication. I wish them success in their modeling careers and hate that they are not in Richmond for me to work with them."
